This webpage outlines the standards for composing and submitting digital engineering drawings to the District of North Vancouver for the purposes of meeting the requirements set forth in Section A (General) of the Design Criteria Manual of the Development Servicing Bylaw 7388.
The purpose of these standards is to ensure that electronic engineering drawings, which are submitted to the District of North Vancouver (DNV), are compatible with DNV systems and software.

All in-house civil engineering design is completed using Autodesk products, namely Civil3D. To help you with submitting proper designs, please download our custom resources.
Our AutoCAD Civil3D drawing template, containing units, layer names, widths, styles and point group information
predefined. This drawing template is in Autodesk Civil3D 2007 format. Also included is an excel spreadsheet with an
overview of the layer specifications.
